A little Bit About Me

My photo

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

HAPPY PINK SATURDAY

welcome to the tour.

Lets all say thankyou to Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for making this possible. Please be sure to stop by all the posts and add a comment to show support........you just have to love this little guy, he "or" she eats bugs!! This is some of the pictures I took at the botanical gardens while I was visiting the Chihuly artwork. Altho I caught the desert blooms at the end of the season, there still was plenty to see and admire. Please enjoy the show.

how about some crepe myrtle?
these blooms actually belong to the Vitex Ash tree in my last picture.
isn't this the truth!
this statue is in the herb garden at the botanical gardens and is named "mother earth".
this looks like some kind of alien to me.......

everything comes alive in the spring.
pretty in pink.
here's a close up. I like this one.

I don't know if this is editable or not, interesting tho.....what do you think it would taste like?!

how's this for strange looking?

the desert loves red.

you can eat this cactus and find them in the grocery stores.....

Pretty, but funny looking at the same time.

What strange, wonderful and wild flowers! I've never seen most of them. Isn't it amazing how you don't even have to leave our country and the landscape looks like you are in a completely different world, just from traveling from state to state.
Happy Pink Saturday and have a loveleigh weekend!

Thanks so much for sharing your pink this week and for making my morning just a little bit brighter. Wishing you a special weekend filled with fun and family.

Isn't it amazing how such prickly things can produce such beautiful blooms? Love the pinks! I must say though, that Mother Nature statue is a little frightening!

Good afternoon, I'm stopping by to say hello, and Happy Monday (and for some, happy blue Monday or happy belated Pink Saturday - WHEW!)

Aren't those cacti amazing? They DO look like aliens!

My blog topic today is about a man, a dog, a love story, and a bit about embroidery. Please stop by if you have a moment.
