We have been very lucky the past four years. My hubbie's company has given us the gift of a villa in Cabo for a week. This year we had some surprises that I thought I would share with you.
One day after the housekeepers left, we discovered this on our bed. The heart was made using white towels that had been rolled and shaped into the heart.
The large flowers at the base and on the top are hibiscus flowers. The other flowers look like some type of vinca to me but I am not sure.
I think maybe I should do this for any company that comes to stay. What do you think?
These swans were in our bath. Again, rolled up white towels and flowers. Just too lovely for words......
Love that they are kissing.
If you don't care for hearts, swans and flowers, how about a large bow on your bed with swans? Not bad huh?
I think this is a beautiful way to welcome guests into your home. Of course, I will have to practice a lot to get this done.
Maybe I can start by mastering the bow.....looks easy enough. The center is a large white towel.
If that doesn't suit you, how about a butterfly made using the sheers on the window. I was not only grateful that someone took the time to create this, but humbled that someone would do this for us.
Not too sure how this was done, but I like it.
I may need help, I think I am a Caboholic!!
Ah, life on the beach with family. Nothing is better than this, well, almost nothing. HA!
Don't like the beach? We had our own heated, private pool......
Hot tub anyone?
Beach sunsets anyone.....
If you have ever wanted to visit Cabo San Lucas, go, go and have fun, relax and enjoy yourself. It's so worth it.
I am linking up to Pink Saturday with Beverly of How Sweet The Sound. Please go on over and see what all the pinkies have been up too. HAPPY PINK SATURDAY

Oh my gosh, this is a beautiful place and what a wonderful gift from your husbands company!
The only other time I have seen these towel and cloth shapes are on a cruise ship. They did it for us in our room every time we left the room! We would leave to go eat and a swan would be some where in the room.
Fantastic - your kissing swans and heart with the flowers was a very nice touch, however!
Have a wonderful time!
Blessings,
Donna

Moreover, you can see some frosty weather photos and pictures from a walk around my neighborhood on January 1st. Finally, there are photos of New Year's Eve . Of course, comments are welcome -- it's always great to hear what you think!
Have a wonderful 2012,

Char, I love all of the different ways to decorate with towels, very creative. The yellow house is the same color at the house we live in here in Florida. I love yellow and it always makes me feel happy, Maureen.
Wow, this place is beautiful and the swans and hearts made from towels with flowers on them are adorable!! I love your beautiful creations, too!! I design and create jewelry and am really just getting my blog out there. I want to get more followers, but I know that I will need to take some initiative and follow others and comment in order for that to happen. Anyway, please check out my blog when you get a chance... www.awrdesigns.blogspot.com
Thanks and good luck to you. I will keep reading, as I really like your blog and the crafts you make. :-)
