I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. Pink Saturday And The Joys Of Being A Grandmother

Happy Pink Saturday to all my blogging pinkies out there in blog land. Thankyou to Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for making all this loveliness possible each and every week.
My October give a way are these handmade tags for Halloween. Please just leave me a comment and you are in. I will anounce the winner next week, good luck and Happy Haunting.
I had the awesome job of babysitting my favorite little ladies today while their mom got her hair done. Life is hard isn't it?! :-) Baby Jenna was asleep while we started eating at the local Red Lobster. Could she possibly BE any cuter.....I don't think so.

Allie was looking so cute, as always. I have been told that she looks like me from the nose up...could I possibly be that lucky??!! Such happy children and a complete joy to be around. Thankyou God for all my blessings, I am so very grateful.
Altho I don't usually showcase anything of mine that is handmade, on my Pink Saturday post, today I decided to do just that. It's this or no pink girlfriends, so here we go.
I made this romantic pillow this week and listed it on my website.
The ornaments below are all hard cardboard, painted and given handpainted, watercolor decals, then sugared with glitter. So cute. I listed them in my Friday Flea Market.

My hope is that each and everyone of you has a fantastic week ahead, one that brings you joy and happiness. Please don't forget to sign up for the Shabbylaneshops give a way for the month of Oct. Simply go here and leave a comment, you are in, it's that easy.

Char, your granddaughters are the most precious little things! I quite agree that being a grandmother is a gift like no other...my grandgirls bring such joy to my life. And I love your beautiful, wonderful pillows! They are just gorgeous...if I didn't sew myself, I would be buying me some! I have so much fabric, its sickening...I really need to get busy and make something beautiul like you've done...I was thinking about doing a memory quilt, but I think I'll start with a memory pillow!

God bless,
Mary

Oh, I am so looking forward to becoming a grandmother! I have been told to have to wait at least a year ... and of course that means leaving London, UK to live in Sydney, Australia. That will be amazing, warmer weather and grandkids ... not to mention the delight of being around their parents!

Looking at your pics of your precious young ladies is a sheer pleasure!

I love those gorgeous pretty pink ornaments. In fact they are quite amazing. What do you do with them? Hang them into a display of a luscious spray of roses??

Happy Pink Saturday!

Lovely Pink Saturday post and sweet blog, too. Woke up to a dusting of snow on the ground so even thought this isn't Saturday I really needed a boost! Today you made me smile...read why I am late this week with comments. Grandbabies - gifts from God.

Sorry, I didn't get to see everyone yesterday. I had important business. My 11 year-old grandson was playing football and he wanted Mimi to go to the out-of-town-last-of-the-season-game. THEY WON AGAINST AN UNDEFEATED TEAM! WOO-HOO! 35 - 17☺

Hope the coming week blesses you with sunshine, happiness and good friends.
