A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

FALL IS IN THE AIR, CAN YOU FEEL IT!

I started a tradition a couple years ago of placing one mini pumpkin at each place setting on my Thanksgiving Day table. I have to say it was so fun to see my guests go home with a little bit of me.
I love fall and altho I know many of you don't want summer to end, I am excited to jump into the pumpkin patch and get started. I look forward to the gorgeous colors and cooler weather. These make a sweet statement on a side table or shelf. I have also been known to give a set away as a hostess gift........even one would be great.

A touch of glitter on the leaves gives a little holiday spirit.

Each pumpkin measures just under 4" and has a cinnamon stitch for a stem.

If you would like to pick an early harvest, this set of minis can be found here.

I've been thinking about starting some pumpkins, both fabric and crochet, but I like the idea of adding a little glitter to the leaves!.. Really nice touch! ~tina

Hi, Char,
Yes, I am definitely ready for autumn. We have had record heat here in Texas and drought conditions. I love fall! Your pumpkins are so cute and can see them looking so nice on a Thanksgiving table. Have a good rest of the week. Vicki
