HAPPY BIRTHDAY PINK SATURDAY!!
Would you like a beautiful Crepe Myrtle for your birthday? This is blooming and I thought of you Ms. Beverly. It's perfect, don't you think?
Just look at those huge blooms. This color is called "Watermelon".
I know you love roses and this one is blooming just for you and your special day. She's one of my favorites. When I look at her I see perfection, if there is such a thing. Mother Nature is a Goddess. (Not always, but in this case, oh yes)
Or maybe you would like this rose. Wouldn't this be gorgeous if we had a whole vase full?
This rose smells so good, very sweet.
I also have this rose bush for you. Of course it's your favorite color, pink!! Once again Ms. Beverly, Happy Birthday and Happy Pink Saturday.
If you would like to visit Beverly's to see all the pretty pinks this week, please go to How Sweet The Sound and join in the fun. We would love to have you.
In honor of Pink Saturday's third birthday, I am having a give a way. I haven't had a give a way in over a year! (has it really been THAT long?!)
This is what I am giving away.
You will receive the pillow with the pink hydrangeas, the vintage teacup topiary and the pin cushion.
I will announce the winner on June 18th, so you have plenty of time to enter.
The rules are:
1. Leave a comment for one entry
2. Visit my website Someplace In Thyme and sign my guestbook letting me know what your favorite item or items are. (this will help me in the future to know in which direction to take my shop) This will give you a second entry into the give a way.
3. Follow my blog. If you are already a follower, please let me know and I will make sure to give you a second entry.
I appreciate your visits and your comments. I want to wish you all a very Happy Pink Saturday and a Pink Saturday Birthday.

Pink Saturday And A Tea Stand
I hope all of you are having a wonderful spring, enjoying the warm weather and the sunshine. It was a long time getting here.
I came across this very chic and pretty tea stand and decided to dress her up with vintage plates and faux treats for you.
Each plate is in vintage condition with no cracks or chips. Each plate is different and is displayed with faux sweets for your shabby cottage homes.
Couldn't you just take a bite out of this beautiful sweet strawberry cake? I used paper roses and some clay roses that I made by hand. The plate is gorgeous with pink roses and some gold.
Two mini cupcakes, one chocolate and one strawberry on a plate with pink roses and more gold!! : )
Oooh, three chocolate sugar cookies, each one a little different from the others. The plate is once again pink roses and a trim of gold.
A beautiful plate with a mini cupcake and a yummy petite four. Icing so fluffy you could lick it off, but you can't, it's all fake.
The tea stand and treats can be found on my website, Someplace In Thyme.
Thanks so much Beverly for another wonderful Pink Saturday. If you would like to participate or visit the other pinkies this week, please go over to Beverly's blog at How Sweet The Sound.

Pink Saturday And An Angel
I am happy to be celebrating pink with you this week. I wasn't too sure if it was going to happen because of the blogger problems. Yippee!!! here we are!!
I wanted to share with you a tassel I just completed and put into my etsy shop.
She is made from ceramic and is just lovely.
Pretty roses at the base of her dress. I like to work with trims and this pink eyelash trim was perfect.
Sheer ribbons, bright pinks along with pale pinks, and polka dots too. Love this.
Pink paper roses that have been handmade are at the base, the back and in the front.
Thank you Beverly for all you do for us each week. I appreciate you more than you know. If you would like to join in Pink Saturday or see the list of this weeks participants, please visit Beverly's blog at
How Sweet The Sound. See you there.

A Very Happy Family
On Mother's Day, the family got together for a lovely meal. I was able to take a couple of pictures to share with my readers.
This is our daughter, Kirstin, her son Kyler, our son's daughter, Allie and Allie's new baby brother, Reid.
Love those smiles.
We were able to add Jenna, Allies sister to the picture, everyone smile.
We love you sweet baby Reid. Thank you Amber for all your help on Mother's Day and we give thanks for all our many blessings.

Pink Saturday AND A Happy Mother's Day
Happy Pink Saturday!!! Thank you Beverly for making this as beautiful as the color pink. You can find the list of pinkies at Beverly's blog, How Sweet The Sound.
I thought I would take you on a stroll through my yard this morning to see what we could fine. Please come join me.
My gardenias are just starting to bloom. The bush is full of buds and I have been graced with the first one. My favorite flower ever. My grandmother grew these and so does my mom. I love them. I passed the gardenia tradition down to my daughter in law and now she has several bushes that are blooming and even my sweet grand daughters love them. Ahhh, life is so good, smells good too!
Perfect Pink roses for this week on my rose tree.
I found this cactus blossom this morning. Smells like an Easter lily....yumO.
This gorgeous bloom is so large and has the most beautiful throat.
So pure white, yellow and green....lovely!!
If you like desert flowers, how about a yellow bird of paradise! She's nice isn't she?!
Happy Mother's Day Mom. You were beautiful then and you are beautiful today!!
HAPPY PINK SATURDAY EVERYONE AND HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY. I HOPE YOU HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND.
