WELCOME TO PINK SATURDAY

It's unbelievable to me what is growing in my garden now. Who would think you would have roses and other blooms in November?

Living in the desert takes some getting used to, and after 7 years, we still don't "get it." Fall color doesn't hit until December and by then, it doesn't matter much. Fall is long over and we are into winter......strange.

Now that the summer heat is gone, we are left with day time temps in the 70's while the nights are in the 40's, so the garden has come back to life.

Roses are blooming again and there is lots of life to be seen.

Please don't get me wrong, my garden doesn't look anywhere near as nice as it does in spring, but while some places are having snow, I will take this!! HA!

Even my bougainvillea are blooming this time of year, although I think they love the heat and show it with blooms all year long.

How about a little bit of Texas sage.....smells good too.

I wish you were here to enjoy this with me, you could sit here in this lovely rocker.

Isn't this pillow just beautiful. I bought this on ebay a few years back from a very talented seller that sadly is no longer selling. I miss her.......even tho I create pillows for the cottage industry, I love to purchase from others in the same venue...

My hibiscus say thank you for visiting this week and leaving such nice comments. I want to thank Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for once again bringing us all together for a little pinkie fun. You can find the list of pink participants on Beverly's blog. I hope you enjoyed your tour of my little part of the world and now I am off to visit as many wonderful blogging buddies as I can.

Your pillow is devine for sure. I too had roses last week. The last of them for the season sadly. Although, today it was 72 degrees. Strange to be that warm this far in. But, I'll take it. Hugs. tammy

Happy Pink Saturday Char Sweetie...
Oh your gardens are blooming as well. My gardens have been given a breath of fresh air and have come to life. I think they have been waiting for the heat to go away as well. Your flowers look so beautiful sweet friend. So beautiful.

I hope you are well, and crafting away again. I have the same rocker as you on my front porch, only mine is maple colored. I sit in it sometimes for hours just listening and find such peace there.

Have a beautiful Pink Saturday sweetie. Many hugs and SO much love, Sherry

Your flowers are so pretty! Ours of course, are sleeping, waiting for spring...when yours will be going to bed. lol!
I remember how the seasons are in Arizona, but while pretty here, I will always prefer living in the SW.!

Hi Charlotte,

I lived in San Diego, CA way back when..and it was odd to adjust to the weather patterns but I dearly loved living in a desert with a sprinkler system..hee hee

Believe it or not I have your package ready to mail..miracles do happen. :0)

Enjoy looking at all of those beautiful flowers..It's raining leaves here..it seems like they fall off the trees til January!

Hugs,
Stephanie ♥

Your Roses are absolutely beautiful as are the rest of your flowers. It seems to be a common thread among the Pinkies today....November Roses! I dare say that Yellow Rose has to be my favorite....the Yellow Rose of Texas...and me without a single yellow rose bush. Happy Pink Saturday Char!

Oh lady, you have got some sweet flowers there. The first one looks as if an angel has kissed it. I just planted some bulbs for spring so hopefully I'll get something pretty. It's my first time planting so I'm really anxious for spring!

Beautiful blooms! Ours lasted so much longer this year than other years. We've had 50's and 60's until just this past week.

How gorgeous! I popped over to visit from the Vintage Nest Give Thanks blog party and had fun reading this post as well! My senior mom did a great job gardening this year and my easy to use digital camera helped me capture so many delightful photos of plants and grandkids but I have no rose pix because I have no roses this year. Yours were a real treat. We are DEFINITELY going to have to add a rose or two next year! :)

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
