A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

A GIVE THANKS PARTY

I am  honored to be participating in Lynn from The Vintage Nest's "GIVE THANKS PARTY."
Please join me and others here to give our thanks for all that we hold dear.
I am thankful that I was born into a family that loved and supported one another, lived by example and respect for all life. I come from a family of military. Grandfather, father, father in law, brother in law, nephew and husband, all served our great country. I am grateful to all that serve to keep us safe and most of all free. I am proud to be an American.
I am humbled by my husband of 38 wonderful years. That someone would and could love me so dearly, share a life together and raise two perfect children.
I am grateful for family, and feel so very blessed to have our children, their spouses and our grandchildren close by. My heart is full with the love of my mother and mother in law.
I am blessed by my friends, both far and near. I never take for granted, my loyal customers and my blogging buddies. They bless me everyday.
On a lighter note, I have been quoted as saying, "I am grateful to be able to get out of bed on my own, breath on my own and know my name!!"
This is a season of reflection, of thinking about all the people we hold dear to our hearts, both living and past. I hope that you too, will stop and take notice of all that you have been given, all that you hold dear.
Please visit Lynn's blog for more inspirational stories, and lets give thanks, this day.
THANK YOU Lynn for bringing us altogether to share from our hearts.

what a beautiful post Char! And I am so happy you took part in the Give Thanks party. My humblest apologies for not having your blog up. I remember going to it to get the url and I must have gotten distracted or something. But you are up now and listed. Since the party doesn't officially start until tomorrow hope no harm was done. Your post today is just wonderful and have a wonderful Thanksgiving. xoxo Lynn

Ah Char, I knew you would write a beautiful post. My family also has a strong military tradition, I think it has enabled us a better understanding of the sacrifices made.

Hi Char- thanks for leaving a comment on my blog! You- my dear- are the one who makes those wonderful cup cakes and cookies that look too real to be true.
They are adorable- I have seen them before and even been on an etsy site.
Love your post on what you are thankful for- all the things that make life worthwhile.
Happy Thanksgiving! Tete
