Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

Welcome To Pink Saturday

The weeks seem to be flying by as Saturday comes faster and faster. Altho I know that is not possible, it sure seems to be here quicker than the week before!! HA! Does that mean my birthday will be here before I know it??!! It's not until next year, but lets slow it down, shall we. :)
I have begun creating my stockings and other goodies for the holidays and so thought it was appropriete to showcase them. I am sorry, but this is all the pink for me this week because it's all I have been doing. Is that a good thing?
I love the stocking above and it's already off to a new home.

This sweet stocking is stuffed with lavender and smells so good. I crossed stitched the santa years ago and re-purposed it onto a lovely cameo rose fabric.

Yep, been baking again. I just don't seem to be able to help myself. I hope you are not getting tired of seeing these lovely faux cakes, because I sure do love making them.
Thankyou Beverly of How Sweet The Sound for all you do for us. I appreciate you so much and want to wish all of you a Happy Pink Saturday.
Please check out the Phamilyblog you won't be disapointed. Anne is one of the nicest bloggers and her blog is a great read too.

Your stockings are SO beautiful!!! I'm not sure if I like the first one or the second one better. LOVE them both!!

And I LOVE the faux cake. And I love that a great big serving of that cake results in zero calories.

Have a lovey weekend.

Hi Charlotte,

Haven't heard from you in a while...."sew" good to see you keeping busy. How's your arm doing? Must be okay, your whirling like a dervish on stockings that are sooooo freakin' cute! I'm workin' on re-decorating and re-organizing my classroom and I've got all these cool little decor' items from different blogger friends (including the cute little plush cone I won from you) and I'm trying to figure out how to display them for all to see. I'll post piccys' once I'm done.

Hugs,
Meri

Hi Char, Your cake is so pretty and it makes me hungry for something sweet. I am like you the time is just flying. I got a week before my big adventure starts so I have to hurry. I will go looking for my display shelves tomorrow. I haven't decided exactly how I am going to do it yet, but I need to hurry up and make up my mind. I love your stockings. Have a great weekend. Hi Char Sweetie...
Happy Pink Saturday and what beautiful things you have to share today. I too am ready for Christmas. I love the stockings that you have shared. Oh my I love the one filled with lavender and that cake sure looks good to me. Yummy. I would say that it is a diabetics dream cake for sure. Smells good and NO calories. Yeah...

Let's get past this darn heat. Today has been a beautiful day though, and you know for us out here in the West Valley, we had rain most of the evening. A steady hard rain. The ground is very wet today. I love it.

I went back to the doctor today. Not a good report. He wants me to have no talking at work for the next 2 weeks and preferably no talking at home. I am getting a little tired of writing notes. My lung capacity tests were NOT good. He is not taking me off the steroids. I was so in hopes. I am still a little gurgly and unfortunately my wheezing is worse today. I couldn't do much blowing at all. I did try though. I hope to get better soon.

Have a gorgeous day sweet friend. I so look forward to a day of play with you. It has been to long.

Many hugs and so much love, Sherry
