Yes my fellow blogger buddies, this is what I have lived in for the past 6 1/2 weeks, even slept in. The only time I was allowed to remove it, was to shower. It's a body sling, my best friend, and my worst enemy. It wrapped around my neck and my back. Enough of that!!!!
I saw the surgeon this morning and was told, I can now take it off. I only need to wear it when I go out. After another week, I don't have to wear it at all. I AM FREE!!I can also drive, but only in the area and only with the sling on for the next week. Here I come.
I want to thank all of you for the kind gifts, the cards and all the blogger love. I still have physical therapy for the next 6 weeks, (and it hurts) but I am happy, happy, happy.

I know this has just been a painful trial for you and I am glad it is almost over!

I am glad you are free..and are mobile again. Imagine having limbs like rigamortis with Fibro..7 1/2 yrs in be like a dummy.I am up now though! Enjoy your day and Easy Does It! HPS!

Soooo happy for you that the sling is off....for the most part..
and that you are almost a "free woman" again!! Funny how we never think of things like this happening to US and how they totally can change your life for a while......I hope you will go back into things SLOWLY now, I know you are thrilled to have your freedom again!!
