THE DAY STARTED OUT PERFECT. THE SUN WAS SHINING, THE TEMPERATURE WAS WARM, IT WAS THE PERFECT SUNDAY......OR AT LEAST WE THOUGHT. UNTIL LATE AFTERNOON AND THE WIND ROARED ITS UGLY HEAD. YEP, IT'S DOWN AND OUT!!!
NOTHING LEFT NOW BUT THE CRYING. THIS WAS A MESQUITE TREE AND SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL. THERE WAS NO SAVING HER. ALL THAT IS LEFT NOW WILL BE THE SOUND OF CHAIN SAWS AND TRUCKS. BOO HOO!!!
THIS IS THE TOP, SO YOU CAN SEE HOW PRETTY SHE WAS. I AM HAPPY TO REPORT THAT I DIDN'T SEE ANY BIRD NESTS YET, SO AT LEAST ONE GOOD THING CAN BE SAID ABOUT THIS SOON TO BE MESS. WE DON'T KNOW WHETHER TO CRY OR GO SHOPPING FOR A NEW TREE.

oh no! I am so sorry for the loss of your tree. Every tree is so beautiful to treasure.
OMG!!!!! I do so hope that everyone and everything else is well. Great grief!! That's a big tree to be blown down.... I live in Texas,,and a couple of days ago,we had some really high wind gusts, but thankfully no damage to anything.
You have a lot going on! Please stay safe! I am glad you are ok! I am sorry about the tree.
this wind has been crazy!!!! sorry about the tree!! but I agree....glad U didn't see any bird nests! :):):):):):):)
You can go shopping for a new tree and the crying stops. I felt that way when I lost my redbud tree that we had raised from babies. When we built our home, we planted all of these little twigs that you thought would never grow, but they did. You didn't say if it hit anything or not, if it didn't then you can be thankful for that. You just never know what mother nature will do that is for sure. You have a wonderful week. Your Missouri Friend.
Oh, Char, I am sorry you lost your tree. Maybe you can find another to replace it. It gave you a lot of shade I am sure which is what you need in the desert. I loved seeing your garden photos from Pink Saturday. Your roses are gorgeous! Have a blessed week, sweet friend! Love and blessings to you~ Vicki
Char....I am so sorry about your pretty tree being destroyed by high winds....thank goodness it was the tree and not something on your lovely home, but still...a tree is pretty devastating to lose, too. Especailly a special one like this one......
I hope you can replace it with another pretty one.....you have had your share of "BLOWS" (pardon the pun!) lately......
With your spunky spirit, I am sure you will find a way to cope, but I hope things will be getting better for you real soon. Take care
You are a very special lady!!
Many gentle hugs, Francy
So sad to see a tree taken down for any reason!!
Love,

DEAR SWEET CHAR,
I AM SO SORRY ABOUT YOUR ACCIDENT AND SURGERY. I DID NOT KNOW. THE SAME THING HAPPENED TO MY MIL BUT HERS STILL WILL NOT STAY IN THE JOINT EVEN AFTER 5 HOURS OF SURGERY. SHE NOW TAKES A DAILY IBJECTION TO HELP HER BONES BE STRONGER.
DID THE AIRLINES GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK FOR THE TICKET YOU WERE NOT ABLE TO USE!
IF ANYONE WONDERS ABOUT BUYING ONE OF YOUR GORGEOUS PILLOWS I CAN ATTEST TO THE BEAUTY...WHEN MY PILLOW ARRIVED,IT WAS FAR MORE GORGEOUS THAN IT SHOWED ON THE SCREEN...IT WAS BREATHTKING AND HAD THE SMELL OF LAVENDER.
I WILL ADD YOU TO MY PRAYER LIST CHAR.

Oh dear....we had a wind like that too...but luckily nothing went down, those type of trees are so pretty but they are top heavy and their roots like to just skim the dirt!!!! I am so sorry....too bad you could'nt get her stakes back up.....I have a Palo Verdr in my yard that this same thing happened to, but they brought it back and staked it and just this year it is looking better...it has been 4 years! Such a loss of s good shade tree....:(
