Please be sure to stop by and give her a visit today.With the end of summer in sight, and the fall season fast approaching, I am about to say a sad goodbye to my summer dishes. Tulips and other blooms are going away until they re-emerge next spring, just in time for Easter. Gone will be the pretty pastels and out come the fall leaves and darker colors. I have to admit, I am very excited for the fall season.

Aren't these just so cute. In case you were wondering, these dishes are from Villeroy and Bach and the pattern is Canari. We bought them when we were living in Germany, I have no idea if they are available in the U.S.
These plates are so much fun to play with because of all the colors. Just about anything goes and they make a gorgeous Easter table.
You really can't have a bad day when you start out with a cup of something wonderful and see all the pretty blooms and gorgeous colors.

Beauiful tulip dishes! Its not good-bye, just so long. Dishes are one of my biggest weaknesses, so I have them stashed all over the house...so now it's time for the fall and winter dishes to have their turn making our eating experiences pleasant!

Why, Ms. Char, my friend, I didn't even realize I was reading your blog. I would leave those pretty dishes out in AZ since I could pretend it was summer there all year round.
It is definitely fall here. Chilly. Dank. Cloudy. All those "wonderful" things people who don't really live here yearn for in September. I will try to take pics, improve my northeast living attitude and share for those of you who love it so much.

I was introduced to Villeroy and Bach when we were vacationing in Germany. Fell in love with a little Inn and those dishes. I also have trouble putting away the light hearted colors of Spring and Summer, but also love the Autumn and Winter changes that come.

Oh, I've been going through the same thing with putting away my tulip and crocus dishes (different patterns, though) and bringing out my Fiesta again, which I love in fall till the turkey dishes come out! What an addiction!
