~~~HAPPY PINK SATURDAY TO YOU~~~
Today for your viewing pleasure I am featuring faux cupcakes and cookies. I love looking at these special desserts and thought I would share them with you today. I hope you have as much fun looking at them, as I did making them. Thankyou Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for making this possible. Be sure to check out the other blogs for great Pink Saturday Posts.
What I love about this plate is that the ribbon can be changed anytime and decorated according to the season or holiday.
I would just love to take a bite! But you can't, paper roses and fake icing just wouldn't taste good would it!?
Beautiful bowl with sweet birds on the sides, filled with faux sugar cookies waiting to be displayed in a pretty way. You can't gain weight on these treats.
These look good enough to eat, but you can't! So pretty and fat free, sugar free too!! Have a great week everyone and Happy Pink Saturday to you and yours.
I didn't even think they were faux until I read you text lol! I was gonna shake my finger at you to scold you for temping us to stuff our faces and gain 40 lbs. It's ok now that I know they are faux delicious, temping, pretty, screaming my name out cookies. lol!
Great post!
I was lingering over the deliciousness of these cupcakes and imagining a true taste treat. Then I started reading! Mental brakes went on. Imagination on hold. Not edible! Oh well, no matter. They are keepers and a treat for the eyes if not the taste buds. Happy Pink Saturday to you.
You can't even tell they are faux. I need some of those just to look at. Being an insulin diabetic there aren't mant sugar free things that I have found that I like or want. What a beautiful plate. I like the idea you can change the ribbon. I haven't seen one like that. Thanks for sharing this beautiful PS. Country Hugs, Sherry
Hi sweetie - I'm not doing PS today, but was just stopping by to say hello to you and to see how you are doing.
Another blog-friend who I have to say this to: you never cease to amaze and delight me. These are charming and I covet them. They are beautiful, and I can't believe they are faux.
These are lovely. I am not going to ask how they were made. I think I know.
I once owned a restaurant and catering business and the lady that did my baking made a bunch of faux wedding cakes to display. They were so realistic people were always having to touch them.
I just never thought of making them for display in my home. Thanks for the suggestion and the visit to my site.
Hello Char, I'm still making my pink saturday visits. How pretty your cupcakes are and they look real! I love your cake plate and especially that you can put the ribbon in it. I love that look! I'll have to try and find one for myself! The rest of your blog is really pretty I've missed alot of your posts due to computer problems. Finally have that fixed so I'll be back more often now.
All your new creations are just beautiful! You do beautiful work!
Have a great week.
