welcome to the tour.
Lets all say thankyou to Beverly from
How Sweet The Sound for making this possible. Please be sure to stop by all the posts and add a comment to show support........you just have to love this little guy, he "or" she eats bugs!! This is some of the pictures I took at the botanical gardens while I was visiting the Chihuly artwork. Altho I caught the desert blooms at the end of the season, there still was plenty to see and admire. Please enjoy the show.
how about some crepe myrtle?
these blooms actually belong to the Vitex Ash tree in my last picture.
isn't this the truth!
this statue is in the herb garden at the botanical gardens and is named "mother earth".
this looks like some kind of alien to me.......
everything comes alive in the spring.
pretty in pink.
here's a close up. I like this one.
I don't know if this is editable or not, interesting tho.....what do you think it would taste like?!
how's this for strange looking?
the desert loves red.
you can eat this cactus and find them in the grocery stores.....
Pretty, but funny looking at the same time.

What strange, wonderful and wild flowers! I've never seen most of them. Isn't it amazing how you don't even have to leave our country and the landscape looks like you are in a completely different world, just from traveling from state to state.
Happy Pink Saturday and have a loveleigh weekend!
Thank you to share your visit to the Desert Botanical garden. Happy Pink Saturday

The pink, white , and yellow tiny flowers surround at the top looks like crowns :-) And the little red one makes me think of a lady bug :-)
