O.k. I am addicted. It all began like a huge storm, coming in fast and before I knew what had hit me, I was hooked. Just like that, without warning, I had to have them, make them, create them, one by one, and buy them. Yes, you heard me right, I not only make tags and sell them on my website http:someplaceinthyme.com but I also buy them from other sellers. I can appreciate the work of other sellers making the same items as I do, but also putting their own design and personality into what they make. The tags above were made using vintage dictionary paper and then layered with other paper and stamps. None are the same. Each one evolves with its own personality, just like the creator. If you haven't yet noticed tags, please keep your eyes peeled for these little treasures and all the work plus the art that goes into making them. Some sellers can get very creative with their stamps, and you can get lost in their beauty.

ps off to check out your website!
Char! And you keep saying you're not techie savvy! Wonderful tags.
Char, I love your tags!
I am addicted to making tags, too. It is bad. As I am going through everything, I pick it up and say, "This would go well on a tag!" I don't know what I will do with them all...possibly try the Vermont farmer's markets later as a venue. Oh, and I'm saving tins and boxes to decorate to put the tags in now. (Oh, this is REALLY bad.)
If nothing else, I figure they are good therapy for me until we can rejoin the world!
tags are very fun. i bought some beautiful ones from maryjane's etsy shop (http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5202149)

I've seen tags - tags that are really done creatively. And yes, each person has its own flow of designs. Love how you used old pages, especially the music sheet :-)
I share your addiction, Sistah!
I made some to use for fan pulls (see my blog) and I get to look at them all the time!
That's one of my favorite words, too!
I am starting to become addicted to tags as well! Making and buying them! Love your vintage inspired one! Very cool as you say!
love your french inspired tags Char--I love to make them and use them for gifts to my customers! They are such a wonderful addition to gift packages!
Just beautiful. I love the French connection. I haven't made tags. Oh yes, I did make some with a pickle on it to put on jars of homemade pickles. I've made a lot of bookmarkers though. They are similar. Putting a ribbon on them would be fun. Think I'll try it.
