I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

Happy Pink Saturday to everyone and remember, this is the day of my unveiling for the blog give a way. I want to thank Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for making all of this possible. Under the lid of this beautiful bowl are the names of all that participated in my blog give a way. Lets lift the lid, shall we and see what's inside.
Just look at all these names. There are over 70 names in this bowl. I can't wait to see who the lucky name is......lets pull one shall we?!

And the winner of my blog give a way is........drum roll please........Betzie, from Time Enough is the lucky winner of my padded hanger covers and sachets. CONGRATULATIONS!!!! I will send you an email thru your blog and request your address. Thankyou everyone, this was fun.

And now I will leave you with some pictures of the hybiscus tree with a braided trunk, just outside my front door. So pretty right now with lots and lots of gorgeous blooms.

I would like to thank everyone that participated in this give a way and also to all of you that wrote me emails. Thankyou so much for your support and we will do this again soon.

I'm crazy for hibiscus. Even though they are not hardy in my zone, I grow them anyway because I love the big papery blooms.

Your plant is especially nice, with it's twisted trunk.

Best Wishes,

It's raining cats and dogs in Upper Michigan today with oodles of cold wind. Not very spring-like so traveling from blog to blog on Pink Saturday is really a treat for me today.

Thanks so much for sharing a little something of yourself today. I really need all the pink I can get with the weather we are having☺

Hoping this weekend is filled with the j♥y of being surrounded by those you love and those who love you.

I love your tree. I used to have one on our deck a few years ago - the squirrels ate the blooms all the time. I gave up and haven't had one since. Happy PS!

Congratulations to betzie! :-)

How cool is it the the trunk of your hibiscus is braded :-) Must be a lot of care when molding it at a young age. And it looks so adorable too cause it's short :-) Looks like a topiary :-)

First......that was a fabulous giveaway. I'm sad that I missed it.

I love your hibiscus tree. I don't think those would do well here in the NW, but I'd sure love one.

And finally, thanks for the compliment on my little Ruby. She loves thinking she's the cutest thing ever. She's a hilarious dog and we enjoy her every minute.

Smiles and blessings,

I know AZ has so much, but our route took us to three main roads. ;-) Lots of malls that's for sure and we enjoyed a great fishing park.

I miss hibiscus flowers. They don’t grow in Guernsey except in a glasshouse or the conservatory. I haven’t had much luck with plants in the conservatory so I haven’t bothered to grow them here. The plaited stem looks very effective. Happy Pink Saturday.
