A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

The Invasion Has Begun~~SPIDERS!

The webs are being spun and the spiders are arriving.
It's that time of year that I always look forward to: fall, oh how I love you!!
Cooler temps here in the desert and the planting begins, more flowers to enjoy after a long, hot summer.

I love these guys, ok, I must be sick!

Don't be afraid, I don't think there is a spider that quite looks like this one. .....yet.

They are even on my front porch. These guys are hairy. Ooh!

Even I have to admit, this guys ugly!!
It's not ALL spiders and webs on my porch tho,

A pretty wreath on my screen door.

A pumpkin at the gate. I picked this up at Hobby Lobby with a 40% off coupon. I couldn't pass that deal up.

What do you think Nikki? Do you like it?

Nope, I don't think Nikki cares one way or another.

Now that the desert temps are much cooler, (we are having temps in the 80's and 90's right now) we can begin to plant some beautiful blooms of all types. Even my roses are coming back.
Lots more to come, next delivery, pumpkins and more blooms.
Thank you so much for stopping by.

Hi Char, The fall of the year is my favorite time to travel and enjoy the much cooler weather. It gets cool in the evening, but warms up in the daytime. My daughter would probably love to add your spiders to her Halloween decorations. My blog picture is part of the decorations. I will be looking to enjoy your flowers. Ours would be mums, but I don't have time to take care of them . I just admires everyone elses. Have a great week. Your Missouri Friend.

I think your giant spiders are great fun.
The break in the AZ heat is always a very welcome change. I too hope to get some flowers out this year.
Your Nickie is a beautiful fur baby. I have a soft spot for white german shepards.
Have a great day!
Always,
Queenie

:) Well..heck..I searched all over town for those spidies...and found NONE! NONE! I was so disappointed. Perhaps next year...perhaps...
I am pea green with envy! :)

Your little rose covered snowmen..also so sweet. Paint a bit..but not great at it. Takes practice. Something I have not done in a very long time.

Hugs,
Mona
