A little Bit About Me

My photo

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

Pink Saturday And My Give a Way

This week has flown by and caught me so unprepared. I know that many of us complain about how fast time goes, but I thought the older you got, the slower time is....NOT TRUE.!!
Our grand daughter Allie, had a dance recital and there my angel is, front and center. (I am so sorry for the bad pictures, but I wanted to share with you anyway.)

Oh Yeah Allie, you go girl!!!

Here is 5 year old Allie and her oh so cutie patootie sister, Jenna. Jenna is my littlest angel girl and is 3 years old. Notice the shoe on Jenna's left foot......way cute, now let's fix it. : )

While out driving, I came across this cactus in full bloom. Of course I stopped and was lucky enough to have my camera with me. I usually don't take the camera out, but I am happy I did this time.

Believe it or not, this smells just like an Easter lily, very light and sweet. As you can see, the bees love it too.

I made and listed this pretty vintage crystal shaker in my etsy shop this week. It had a silver plated top, and I gave her a make over with white paint and some lovely florals.

Thanks again Beverly for hosting the pinks this week. You can find the list of participants on Beverly's blog How Sweet The Sound. Please be sure to stop by and say hi.
If you haven't signed up for my GIVE A WAY, it's not too late, there is plenty of time. The give a way post is the one before this.

Hi Char, I adore the photos of your grands. A dance recital is so special when grandma can come. I remember my granddaughter's dance recital when she was five and now she is 15. Enjoy every minute you can be with them. They grow up so fast.
The cactus is stunning. I would never guess they would smell good.

Dressing up the shaker is so sweet in pink. We pinkies adore that color pink!

Happy pink Saturday.
Hugs, Jeanne

Hello Sweet Char and a very late Happy Pink Saturday!
Due to the corrupt cookies on Blogger, I could not get on my blog. To do so , I had to install Google Chrome and come in this way. I am trying to get rid of those cookies in the meantime. I don't understand why Blogger does not maintain their own site better!!!! Ugggg!

Your little dancer, Allie, is so precious! My Allie is 16 and a half now, but oh how I loved going to all of her little events. Now she is about to get her drivers license.....horrors of horrors. Her Grandma is not ready for that, yet!
Is that an Organ Cactus with the gorgeous white bloom?
Hugs,
Jil
