Marty's Fall Cloche Party AND Pink Saturday

Fall is in the air and altho I don't yet have all my fall decorations up, I did want to participate in Marty's Fall Cloche Party. To see all the lovely items Marty has in her home, along with many other beautiful offerings, you can visit Marty at.http://astrollthrulife.blogspot.com/

I have this beautiful cloche sitting on my dining room table with a sweet mini pumpkin. I always make these pumpkins every year to use at every one's place setting. It's a sweet remembrance of a lovely holiday together.
The fabric for these pretty pumpkins can be any fall fabric you would choose to go with your table decor. The decorations at the top are so fun to use. I love to use a dried cinnamon stick for the stem.

This cute wire cloche is one of my favorites. I just love the hearts around the center. I placed a little scarecrow and pumpkin display inside.
A close up of a holiday that is on it's way!!
Pumpkins and crows just seem to go together, don't they? Another wire cloche, but this one has a little bird on top.....love it!!
See, isn't he just the cutest thing you have ever seen?
When I bought this cloche, I had every intention of painting it white. What was I thinking??? So glad I left it alone.
Thank you so much Marty for yet again giving all of us the opportunity to visit each other and share our passion for cloche's. I am very grateful and can't wait to visit all the other participants.

Pink Saturday

As you know, plants in the desert are fried after a long, hot summer, but I did manage to come across these lovely oleander bushes and they are perfect for Beverly's Pink Saturday.

Both dark and lite pink varieties in this yard.
This plant brings lots of color this time of year and doesn't require a lot of water, which is a good thing if you don't get a lot of rain.
Oooooh Pretty!!!
Just in case you are wondering what I have been up to this week, here she is. A frenchie tassel for a customer of mine. Ya just gotta love pink!!!
Happy Pink Saturday everyone and THANK YOU Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for all your hard work each week. We wouldn't be here today if not for you.

I love your cloches and the flowers were so pretty for not needing much rain. I love the fall of the year and the turning. It is 57 degrees tonight. We have been having some cool nights, but today we didn't even hit 70 degrees. They said we were to get some rain, but it stayed south of us. We like to travel in the fall of the year, but I don't think that is going to happen this year. have a great weekend. Your Missouri Friend.

Your cloches are wonderful! Fall is my favorite time of year. I am certainly enjoying seeing all the fall decorating going on.

Thanks for stopping by the new Back Porch. I was dismayed to find the old one had vanished into thin air and happy when I found a way to get back over there and try to salvage some of the work, hopefully.

I'll be staying at TypePad.

I love your dining room cloche ~ so pretty and the base is great, too! Your pumpkins that you make are adorable. I like that idea of letting guests take them away as a remembrance. I bet they smell good, too, with the cinnamon stick! Love the wire cloches ~ I have one with a bird on top that I got from Michaels {mine is a shabby looking white}. It has a matching little base and I totally forgot I had it! I could have included it in the cloche party!

Hey, Char! Great pics and displays and tassel! We are out of the house on October 7th and living in hotels in Vermont and California until the "date" is finalized for us to relocate. We will take the southern route to avoid any wintery weather in the Rockies. If you have a couple of hours, maybe we can catch a cup of coffee somewhere. Could be end of October, could be end of November.

Things are pretty fried here in Alabama as well. We have had practically no rain the last month. Your fall things are lovely. I do need to get mine out before it's too late.

Your cloches are very pretty, I really like the wire ones. I also like seeing orange pumpkins (since so many are white). That is one cute tassel.

Such pretty cloches. I love the metal stand on that first cloche, and the wire cloche with the hearts around it is so pretty. What a clever idea to use a cin. stick for a stem om the pumpkin. I have that same wire cloche with the bird on top. I forgot to use it for the party this time! laurie

Hi Char, I just love your Cloches! I need to get one. I remember seeing one in a magazine with a vintage Putz house and tree in it for Christmas. So pretty. I have some Glitter houses that I made and some vintage Putz houses that my MIL gave me for Christmas last year. My little treasures!
