A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

A Sweet Pillow Made From Something Special

A couple months ago I was at the Goodwill and came across a very small tablecloth. I couldn't resist the price, nor the cloth. I knew right away I could make some special with it. I must admit, I don't know what the fabric is, maybe a rayon? It didn't matter to me, I liked it and loved the creamy color.
I also came across some vintage linens and snagged those as well. I have made a sachet (which has sold) and two pillows. I now have no more of this wonderful fabric left. :(
This is the last pillow from this beautiful fabric. I embellished this pillow with handmade and store bought blooms, ribbons and faux pearls.
I think it's romantic with all the ribbons and bows. I also painted a sweet key and added that to the center. This and more can be found on my website Someplace In Thyme. I hope this post finds all of you doing well, that you are safe and happy, enjoying some great weather. Until later......

Dear Friend, What a beautiful pillow, I know for sure that it will not be for sale for long. Someone will snap it up and treasure it for years to come. Thanks for being a great friend, hugs Maureen.

Your pillow is beautiful. I just wish I had money for all of the things that I would like to have.
Your pillows are all so pretty I like the blue one that you made here a while back. I am kinda slow getting around with everything that I have going at the present time. I will soon have all of my vacation time that is left used up and it won't be another vacation, but doctor appointments. You take care and have a wonderful day. Your Missouri friend

How lovely. You are so creative to be able to look at something plain and imagine it as something as beautiful as your pillow.

Hi Charlotte,

How are you doing? How's the arm? Your pillow is lovely, just like you, and I hope someone snatches it right up for you. I hope we can all get together again soon. Take care and have a great weekend.

Hugs,
Meri

P.S. I put my little "pillow" that you gave me in my workroom and I always get to see it now when I'm working. Thanks again.
