A little Bit About Me

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

A GIVE A WAY WITH GRATITUDE

AS PROMISED FROM AN EARLIER POST, HERE IS MY GIVE A WAY. I AM OFFERING YOU THIS SWEET STRAWBERRY SACHET AS A SMALL TOKEN OF MY GRATITUDE AND THANKS FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT, CARING, COMMENTS AND LOVE DURING MY TIME OF NEED. I FEEL THIS IS LITTLE FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN ME. I WILL BE GIVING TWO OF THESE SWEETIES TO TWO LUCKY RECIPIENTS.
I CAN'T THANK YOU ENOUGH. YOU KNOW WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO.......SIMPLY LEAVE A COMMENT, YOU DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW OR LINK, JUST LET ME KNOW WHO YOU ARE AND I WILL ANNOUNCE THE WINNERS ON MONDAY. THANKS AGAIN FOR ALL YOU HAVE GIVEN TO ME THIS PAST MONTH, AND GOOD LUCK.

AS YOU KNOW, I HAVE HAD THE USE OF ONE ARM AND TWO HANDS FOR THE PAST MONTH.
I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO DESIGN OR CREATE ANYTHING IN THAT TIME......WELL, ALMOST.
THE OTHER DAY I JUST COULDN'T TAKE IT ANYMORE, SO I WENT INTO MY STUDIO AND GAVE IT A TRY. I MADE THIS VERY CHIC AND ROMANTIC HANGING PILLOW SACHET. IT TOOK ME A LOT LONGER THAN NORMAL, BUT I WAS SO HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO GET SOMETHING MADE FOR MY WEBSITE, SOMEPLACE IN THYME.
I LOVE THE LOOK OF ALL WHITE AND ALL THE DETAILS. MY ARM WAS SORE THAT NIGHT, PROBABLY FROM BENDING OVER AND USING BACK MUSCLES THAT I DON'T USUALLY USE. I HAD TO FIND A WAY TO COMPENSATE FOR ONLY ONE ARM. I AM A PROUD MAMA AND HAPPY TO BE LISTING THIS TODAY. I DON'T KNOW WHEN I WILL TRY THIS AGAIN, IT WORE ME OUT, BUT WAS WELL WORTH IT, DON'T YOU THINK?

SOFT AND PRETTY, SMELLS GOOD TOO WITH OVER 2 CUPS OF LAVENDER BUDS. MAYBE I WILL TRY AND MAKE ONE FOR MY MOTHER FOR MOTHER'S DAY. SHE HAS BEEN AN ANGEL THROUGH ALL OF THIS. IF NOT FOR HER, WHO KNOWS WHERE I WOULD BE......HAVING SAID THAT....I WOULDN'T BE HERE, WOULD I!!! HA HA

Good afternoon Charlotte,

It's so good to see you crafting again. I know it's difficult, and painful, but it will be over. As I mentioned before I've had 14 surgeries, mostly to my knees, and one to my back for three ruptured disks, and as we speak I'm supposed to have surgery on my right arm as it has "Golphers elbow." My ulnar nerve is pinched and I haven't been able to fully extend my arm for years now due to bone spurs in my elbow joint. It's painful, but it's added to the pile of crap I deal with on a daily basis, so I do understand, and I want you to know you can email me anytime (meriw@cox.net) if you need someone to talk to about the pain.

Oh, and I'd be honored to win your giveaway, if it should happen. Thank you for giving us the opportunity.

Hugs,
Meri

Char, this is beautiful, & so sweet of you to share in a giveaway with us.

If you are only using one arm to do these creations, you are going to be mighty dangerous with two ... chuckle.

Hope you are doing better, sweet friend.

Have a great eve.

Good morning Char...

Oh my goodness........Canton or the hospital??? Hmmm....What an awful spill. Darn. I can sooo relate! I was doing a simple garage clean up when I fell and broke my FEMUR! Not exactly what I had planned for the next YEAR!....I'm so sorry the injury happened and I pray that it heals perfectly for you. Bless your little heart.

I love your pinks.......and actually read back through quite a few posts so I could catch up. I've been soooo busy, I'm behind in my blogging.

Please enter me in this yummy giveaway....you did a wonderful job on your pressies.

Sending feel better hugs..

OMG Char Sweetie...
What a beautiful piece of work you have created. I absolutely adore this beautiful pillow. Your work one handed is just as beautiful as your work two handed sweetie. You can certainly do anything you set your mind to.

I would so love to win this precious gift of love that you have created. Please add my name to the drawing, and I am crossing my fingers, my toes, my arms. Ha! Ha! Ha! I just adore it. Thank you sweetie.

Please take care of yourself. I hope we can get together soon. I have been praying for a wonderful recovery for you. (I tore my right rotator cuff so I know about this sling, the pain, the staples and yep even the painful PT. I am right here with ya girl.)

Have a beautiful May Day sweetie. May your day be filled with sunshine and happiness. Country hugs and so much love...Sherry
