Pink Saturday And St. Patty's Too

I thought Ms. Bunny would be perfect for this Pink Saturday's theme of Pink and Green. Not a lot of green, but if you look hard, it's there.
Vintage pink and white chenille along with some cotton fabric make up this adorable bunny and just in time for Easter.

A sweet basket  I wove and nested just for  Ms. Bunny. It has a mini wire apple detail at the back with a handmade paper rose and ribbon. You can't have a nest without eggs and so there are two painted wooden eggs that have been decal ed with pink roses and then sugared with glass glitter.

Such a cute face, don't you just love vintage chenille?
Beautiful cotton fabrics come together to create a one of a kind shabby bunny for this week's Pink Saturday. I hope you have enjoyed seeing my post and I hope you all have a wonderful St. Patricks day.
Thank you Beverly for all you do. You can find the list of participants on Beverly's blog, How Sweet The Sound. Please stop over and lets all see what everybody is up to.
Ms. Bunny can be found on my website, Someplace In Thyme.

  7. Hi Char, Your chenille bunny reminds me of the bedspreads my mom used when I was little. They were so soft and I used to pull on the puffy parts and get into trouble for it! Love your pink bunny! Linda

  31. Char, I've never thought of decal-ing eggs. What a great idea with wooden or styrofoam eggs, sweetpea. I think I'll do that for our great granddaughter's first easter.

    Happy pink saturday.

  32. Oh yes....very scary. We had our front door AND back door removed and new doors put on...all in same day...well..it was SUPPPPOOOOSSSE to be in the same day.. NOT !!
The first guy that came was a JOKE..and he cut our security wires..and so we had to have the security guys come out and reinstall the system...that was another WHOLE day wasted waiting for the the work getting done.
THEN they sent a guy that KNEW what he was doing...and things got done ...it two weeks between the time the first guy showed up and and the second one re-did the job.
I hope you have MUCH BETTER luck with your job.
