I wanted to share the rest of my Desert Botanical Pictures with you when I went to see the art work of Dale Chihuly. Please enjoy, and thankyou to Beverly from
How Sweet The Sound for another fantastic Pink Saturday. Be sure to visit all the participants and leave a comment for them on their blogs.

Can you find the right words to describe this?

Like watching the sun set....maybe even better.

Blends right in with the floral

Oh baby, what beautiful lines you have!

More round blown glass to look like balloons, what a party we could have with these, right?

Wouldn't you love to have this hanging somewhere in your home?

Looks like balloons, but it's all hand blown glass balls.

Just takes your breath away, I could stand and look at this all day.

Beautiful lines and waves of glass, look, it's pink!!! I hope you didn't think I would let you down now, did you??!!

I can't imagine how one begins to blow glass into shapes like this!

You can't tell by the pictures, but there is texture in the color of the glass at the top, this ranges from yellow, orange to red.

I thought these looked like fire with the red and orange. Sorry, no pink, but you just have to enjoy the lines.....

The shapes of the glass blend in with the shapes of the plants they surround.

Don't you just love this color?

What a beauty, there just are no words to describe this glass. If I remember correctly, this gorgeous lavender color was showcased all around the organ pipe cactus.

What would you call this piece?

And now I will leave you with this amazing piece!
This really is amazing! The Pink ones are great! I like when there are not the expected pinks on Pink Saturday. It feels like you were thinking about it a bit more than me! hehe

ReplyDeleteI love Chihuly, don't you? A couple of years ago, our fine arts center had an exhibit of his stuff and it was GREAT! We are lucky to have a couple of his chandliers in the fine arts center permanently as well. Happy belated Pink Saturday.

Hi Char
ReplyDeleteThese are quite incredible! Tnanks for showing us all these pix.
Happy Pink Saturday (finally). I had hayfever which has turned into sinus, so due to headaches I haven't been online since Friday! I do apologise for being so late (and I somehow don't think I'll be doing much visiting this week)
Lovely glass....
