A little Bit About Me

My photo

Someplace in Thyme

I have been creating since I was a little girl. I am happy to say that having my own website has opened up a whole new world for me. Trying new mediums is a joy and sometimes a real eye opener. I sell what I create on etsy and my website, someplaceinthyme. If you have questions, please email me at cpeterson72@q.com. I welcome new blog friends and am honored if you find my little piece of heaven interesting enough to follow.

Pink Saturday!!

Hello to all of my pinkie friends. Once again we have the opportunity to visit each other and share some fun and love of all things pink. I have no blooms to offer this week and so have decided to once again share what I have been up to.

Sometimes I am all over the place!! My mind goes from one thing to another and I am busy with all types of mediums. I thought I would share with you my latest stained glass window. I hope you like it. This one is for me and I have decided not to sell it. I might give it to my grand daughter for her bedroom, I haven't made up my mind yet........

If you love teacups, then this is sure to please the eye. I found this vintage teacup and saucer in an antique store and decided to make a rose topiery. I think she turned out pretty nice. She is for sale, if you are interested, she can be found here. I believe this is over the top romantic and just lovely to look at.

Thankyou to Beverly from How Sweet The Sound for once again getting all of us together for a chat. You can see all the pinkies and their lovely blogs here.

Please stop over and take a look at Betty's blog from She's Sew Pretty. Her blog is beautiful and I am sure you will love her too.

Hello Ms. Char,

The window is magnificent! WOW! I love your topiary too. Got a chuckle about being all over the place with mediums! Haha! I thought I was the only one who jumped from medium to medium. From paper to clay to clay to paper to painting. It sure is fun though.

Thanks for stopping by my Dee-vine Ms. Bo-vine post. My sister used to do stained glass and I learned it's very enjoyable and sometimes difficult. Gives me a deeper appreciation for it - although I have always loved it anyway. It's amazing what crafty-ideas can be had - love the teacup. Oh, and I peeked at your cabinet post -beautiful ... love the way you did them. Jenn

Pink Saturday is such a fun time of the week for me in the wintertime. Michigan winters are not only cold, they are very gray and today is no exception to the rule.

Thank you so much for sharing your blog this Pink Saturday and for making my day brighter and pinker and more fun!☺

That window is REMARKABLE!

♥Wishing you sunshine surrounded by those you love today, tomorrow and always♥

Sweetie you have shared 2 very beautiful pinks today. I love the stained glass window. How very beautiful it is. I think I would be waking with the curtains drawn so that I could see the beautiful piece looking back at me. Your grand daughter will be so lucky that you share with her.

Your topiary is full of pink cuteness. I love it. Who would have thought to use a beautiful teacup and saucer as a base. That is just precious. Thank you for sharing sweetie.

I am still wanting to spend a day crafting with you. Where in the valley are you located? I am at 43rd avenue and West Thunderbird. Let me know, and maybe if nothing else we could meet for lunch and shopping. I miss you too.

Country hugs and so much love sweetie...Sherry
